RON JONES
Ron is a 1984 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and has over 50 years of combined experience in both instrument and vocal music. He has had the honor to perform with several professional artists throughout his career. His most recent performance was with Stevie Wonder. As a proud Army veteran, Ron served in the US Army from 1984-1990 as a commissioned officer flying UH-1 helicopters. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to Memphis to pursue his career in education. Since 1988, Ron has been teaching in the private sector and in the public school system. He later moved to the Dallas area where he has been teaching music for over 20 years. For the past 35 years, Ron has also served as Minister of Music and choral director for several large churches all over the United States.
